Raise your hand if you wish you could pack a duffel bag, grab your sunnies and head out of town for a week? *raises both hands* For those of you who have been working overtime, pulling double shifts, and/or simply going crazy with the never-ending assignments- this one’s for you.
Vacation Packing Tips
Spring break is right around the corner and I’m pretty sure the last thing on your to-do list is figuring out what to pack for your vacation. The biggest challenge I face is always waiting until the night before to pack! Not to mention- stressing out about not having enough outfits for all of the miscellaneous activities and worrying that my bag is over 50 pounds. Before you say, “Amen sister!”, keep reading to learn how easy packing for your next spring break vacation can be. I teamed up with Old Navy on this post to show you how you can plan a hassle-free vacation wardrobe without breaking the bank. Funny story - on my recent trip to Miami the only shoes I brought were these sandals from Old Navy. They matched every outfit and were cute for day or night. And that’s why I chose their store. If you’re getting ready to pack for a mini vacay the goal is simple. Avoid over-packing. Packing a ton of extra clothes just to feel like you have plenty of options is actually more stressful in my opinion. I always end up late to every activity, because I'm in my hotel room getting lost in a big pile of clothes.Let’s say you’re heading somewhere relaxing and fun with no stressful agenda. If that’s the case (which it should be because HELLO you’re on VACAY sista!!) then think about these 3 C’s.- something comfy for lounging around in (i.e. hitting the beach/lake). Denim shorts are a must! I love how I paired it with this comfy ruffle-hem top. You can never go wrong with stripes and a bold pop of color!

- something cool for workout/outdoor activities. I love wearing active-wear even if I’m not working out. Go for softer fabrics and easy-to-wash items. Don't be shy to mix and match!

- something chic to go out in for the evening. This is the part that allows you to bring that statement dress or hot pair of heels for a night out on the town. It's still vacation so don't feel like you have to come over-dressed. (Chic = effortless)

I refuse to travel without my cute bag options and fun jewelry pieces (even if it's dainty).I hope you enjoyed my looks with Old Navy! It’s hard to believe that I snagged all of these goodies for less than a couple of hundred bucks. Seriously, high-five to Old Navy right now for their trendy, timeless, and affordable pieces.
