KIDDING. Can you imagine? Pretty sure I've done something stupid like that for my blog before. ha! This look is actually from my Colorado trip we went on a couple of weeks ago. I was so excited that it was chilly enough for me to bring out my fall coat style.I made a deal with Stevie yesterday. I told my husband that from now on when I run out of hangers in my closet, I promise to get rid of something old and replace it with something new. I noticed everything that I wanted to keep are my basic pieces. I hope this doesn't make me a basic you know what! haha!! I'm learning basic (in fashion) can be a good thing! It's anything that isn't a 'one-time wear' or 'dust collecting' piece hanging in your closet. Like the floral summery dresses and funky skirts that we wear once and never again. Now, I'm starting to look for longer life-expectancy pieces for my closet. Fingers still crossed for some chilly fall weather in LA because I refuse to get rid of my cute coats waiting so patiently to be worn. In the meantime, I can at least get away with wearing a light jacket/coat at night like this.I know I'm going off on a rant in this post but I swear there's purpose. I think? I don't mind splurging on nicer accessories that will last me a long time like these sunnies sunnies and my nude suede bag. I can't seem to enjoy splurging on super expensive shoes. It's really hard for me to grasp the concept of wearing a fortune on my feet when the purpose of shoes is to walk on the ground and get them dirty. ha! I feel like I would tip-toe everywhere I went. ha! Thank God for cute steals like the booties I'm wearing for only 30 bucks! I noticed that they are running low on nude stock so they brought back the same style in black. You can never go wrong with a mess-free black bootie.P.S. Can you tell I'm wearing no makeup here. Shhhh! We were driving to Denver for my birthday and I literally wanted to have a lazy throw your hair up and go kind of day. We shot this outfit next to the gas station when we stopped for snacks. LOL.
