Let me paint the picture for you. I’m currently sitting in a fully reclined chair in Emirates (pinch me), sipping on a glass of Chardonnay, and pretending I’m Carrie from Sex and the City as I’m typing on my computer. ha! Can I just say LIFE IS GOOD! We’re about 4 hours into our 16 hour flight to DUBAI. *pauses due to turbulence*Where was I? Not sure if you guys know this or not but I am thrilled to be speaking at the first ever Simply Stylist Conference happening in the big D (can I call it that?) alongside the beast of blogging Aimme Song and several other talented faces from the city. yay!Stevie is with me and I don’t know if it’s all the arabic fonts in the aircraft - but I feel like he’s getting a taste of the homeland. Even though I’m not from Dubai, there’s a feeling of homeliness when I’m visiting the middle east. It’s our first time in Dubai (and Steve’s first time ever in the Middle East!) so I’m really looking forward to it. I can’t wait to meet some beautiful faces (AKA YOU!) along the way.We have a free day tomorrow to explore and hopefully adjust to the 12 hour time change. K just thought I would log-in and give you all a brief update from up in the air. If you’re wondering - yes there’s a bar in the aircraft (just like the one in Sexy and the City movie!!!). I plan on sharing a VLOG from our trip on my channel so make sure you subscribe and stay tuned! This is already such a fun trip.I’m not tired so I’m going to put myself to sleep on this flight by binge watching Chopped Juniors and editing some videos slash content for the week.
