I attended the University of North Texas, where I studied Radio, Television, and Film. During this time, I discovered my passion for fashion, beauty, and storytelling.

While still in college, I started my blog, “Spaz-attack.com,” which then became “Spaz Magazine” and eventually Sazan.me. It became a creative outlet where I shared my love for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. Little did I know, it would soon become much more.

My presence on social media began to grow, especially on Instagram. I loved connecting with others and sharing beauty tips, which resonated with many of you who joined me on this journey. Shortly after, I launched my YouTube channel, where I started sharing beauty tutorials, fashion advice, and personal vlogs. It quickly became a place where I could connect with you on a deeper level.

I made the big move to Los Angeles to pursue my journalism dreams full-time. It was an exciting yet challenging time, but your support kept me going as I began collaborating with major beauty and fashion brands—focusing on growing my little blog.

May 8, 2015: I married my best friend, Stevie Hendrix. Our love story has been a beautiful journey, and together we've built a life filled with love, faith, and adventure.

I co-founded Bless Box, a subscription box service that delivers curated beauty, fashion, and lifestyle products right to your door. This venture was a dream come true and a way to share my favorite finds with you. In 2019, I sold the company.

December 5, 2017: Stevie and I welcomed our beautiful daughter, Valentina Grace Hendrix—but you may know her as “Teeny”! Becoming a mother has been one of the most profound experiences of my life. This year also brought exciting opportunities, like collaborating on my own lipstick, “Sazan Nude,” with Bobbi Brown cosmetics.

Stevie and I started a podcast, "The Good Life with Stevie and Sazan." Through this podcast, we talked about everything from faith and family to career and life’s ups and downs. It was a thrill ride, and we loved our growing TGL fam! The podcast garnered over 24 million downloads and we felt so incredibly blessed by the love and support from our listeners and guests, who made it possible for us to share stories, laughter, and inspiration with people all around the world. After 6 amazing seasons, we decided to take a break from podcasting to focus on growing our family.

My content began to shift more towards motherhood, faith, and lifestyle, reflecting the changes in my life. Your continued support through these transitions has meant the world to me. The best thing about 2020? Welcoming our second baby girl, little Miss Amari Rose Hendrix.

Stevie and I launched S+S Goods candles and our new website, stevieandsazan.com. We were excited about diving into e-commerce, but amidst the craziness of growing our family, we quickly realized something important: our hearts weren't in it. We weren't passionate about the e-commerce world, and it became clear that it wasn't the right path for us. So, we decided to pivot and refocus our energy on something that truly mattered to us - finishing the book we'd been working on/off for 5 years.

This shift in priorities led us to complete and release "A Real Good Life," a book that captures our journey, lessons, and the joy we’ve found in living authentically. It’s been a labor of love and one of the most precious products we’ve ever created. We also welcomed into the world our third child, a baby boy—Oliver Leon Hendrix.

My journey continues, with lots of exciting surprises I’ve been cooking up! This year marks a new, exciting chapter in my life—one that’s free-spirited, quirky, and full of life and spontaneity. I’m thrilled to share that I’m launching a brand-new podcast called "I’m Fun Now." This podcast isn’t just my journey—it’s ours. Whether you’re a mom navigating a new stage of life, someone rediscovering her passions, or simply looking for a dose of fun and friendship, this podcast is for you. I can’t wait to take you, besties, along on this journey as we explore life’s joys with a renewed sense of fun and spontaneity together. Let’s embrace the quirky, the fun, and the wonderfully unexpected moments of loving where we are right now. :)
