My sweets, do you have a favorite summer outfit? My go-to: relaxed, easy and chic. Today I'll show you how to style a cute look for summer with three easy steps. No need to break the bank buying tons of new clothes when you just want to be comfortable while you're out on vacay or having fun with friends. Think "light, fun, and colorful" for summer. Keep scrolling..
1. Start with Casual Staple Pieces - Grab a simple plain tank or t-shirt, it can be white or it can be a fun pattern (it's totally up to you). It can be loose, fitted, or cropped! Then, grab a pair of shorts, denim is always easy but any pair you have in your closet will work. If you're doing a printed bottom go with a plain top and vice versa (seldom does the whole mixing prints idea work). Once you've paired the two together, the base of your outfit is complete.
2. Add the Color Trend - It's summer so a pop of color can go a long way (even if it's in your shoes ;). If you're sticking to a simple white tee and denim uniform then add in a colorful kimono that is light and easy to wear. You can also play it up with a fun lip color if you'd like.
3. Accessorize and Add Shoes - This is where you can make any basic outfit YOU. For me, my personality is in the shoes, bag and sunglasses choice. I'm not a crazy jewelry person but I love adding a bracelet and/or dainty necklace to spice up my outfits.
