New season, new lip colors! Other than cozy knits and pumpkin scented candles, what I'm most excited about are Fall lip shades! I recently shared my favorites with you, but I keep finding more that I'm dying to share! And yes- It's the perfect season to experiment with darker tones!
Before I get too excited talking about lip products I love, let's go over how I like to keep the rest of my makeup during Fall. Throughout the colder months, my skin tends to be more dry and dull. So to combat that, I love using super hydrating moisturizers and primers. My foundation is a little more full coverage than summertime, but I still like to carry over that faux sunkissed glow into Autumn. I just can't seem to put down the highlight! Ha! :) With a flawless base, it makes playing around with darker lip shades super easy!
A few of my favorite trending colors for Fall right now are more vampy midnight browns, burgundy, red, burnt orange, and can't forget nude! I recently wore Bobbi Brown Lipcrush in 'BlackBerry, ' and I can't seem to put it down! It's the perfect pop of color without being too dramatic for daytime. Playing around with different formulas is also super fun! Colors can look so different when they're matte compared to a glossy finish.
I'm also loving this NARS lip pigment in shade 'Chocolate Brown' that I wore to the InStyle Awards last night. Many of you were asking about it on this insta-pic so I thought I'd share the deets. ;) Saz tip: When picking out fall lipsticks, I feel like it's important to keep your skin tone in mind.Fair Skin:Soft dusty rose, corals, and vibrant reds look stunning on fair skin.Medium Skin:To avoid looking washed out, deep shades of dark red with blue undertones will look beautiful.
