With fall approaching, I wanted to give you babes a rundown on one of my cozy season favorites... Jackets! I seriously can't get enough! There are so many different styles to choose from, and a jacket effortlessly elevates any outfit. Outerwear comes in various shapes, lengths, materials, so the options seem to be endless! That can be a good thing but also very overwhelming! I like looking for timeless outerwear that I can bring back into my closet every year. Here are my top 5 favorite styles to help guide you through your next shopping trip!
#1 Denim Jacket:
A denim jacket and fall go hand in hand for me. Having a denim jacket all year round is actually ideal. The material is lightweight enough where you're not too warm but also thick enough to layer and keep you cozy on a chilly day. Whether you want to go for a distressed denim look or a classic clean style, you're sure to get a lot of wear out of this piece!
#2 Leather Jacket:
Another classic fave is the leather jacket. It's sure to make its way around year after year, and I can't complain! It will give any outfit an instant edge and is so easy to layer on top of a basic tank or a light knit. I wore a patent leather cropped jacket recently with a flowy dress and sneakers, and I LOVED the look. So comfortable yet put together.
#3 Oversized Blazers:
This style is definitely trending at the moment. From prints like houndstooth to plaid, an oversized blazer is sure to be one of your go-to fall jackets! Easy to dress down with leggings and a sweatshirt or dressed up with black trousers and a button down for an office-appropriate look.
#4 Faux Fur Jacket:
Faux fur is another classic outerwear style! From black to nude and blush (my favorite!) it gives any look a chic but feminine edge! My favorite ones are the cropped style because it's super easy to pair with any outfit and doesn't overwhelm your look. Give faux fur jackets a try! I promise you won't regret it ;)
#5 Trench Coat:
And last but certainly not least, trench coats! They just scream YASSSSS for fall! I love going for the classic colors like tan or black, but there are so many different ones out in stores to choose from if you want to spice things up!
