If you love a good avocado toast recipe- you will fall in love with this one. Thanksgiving is this month (yay!!) so I felt inspired to start a new series called "Wifey Wednesday" here on my blog. The goal is to share easy recipes from my kitchen as well as fun holiday decorating ideas for the home. I just love this time of year so much! I'm still a rookie at married life (it's only been 5 months hehe) but I'm learning new things everyday about being a wife and that's something I look forward to sharing with you.So today's recipe came from a menu item at Nespresso Boutique here in Beverly Hills. You probably saw my Instagram or two gushing about it. It's their "Avocado Tartine" and seriously it is my favorite thing on the menu. If you don't live in LA, I'm inviting you to try it at home. If you love avocados and lots of delicious flavors together, get ready for a party in your mouth! It's so good! Here's how you can make it at home.

I'll have the avocado tartine with extra dates, feta, and chili fakes. He'll have.. whatever that thing is. ???????? #sazaneats #poachedeggcrossaint #brunchwithbae #nespresso

Ingredients• 2 slices of Rudis Ancient Grain Spelt Bread (toasted)• 1-2 Dates (not pictured)• Feta crumbles• 1 small avocado (organic)• Chilli flakes (for spice) and/or Tajin (I prefer a zesty kick!)• Coconut oil (optional; can also be substituted with olive oil)• Himalayan salt (optional)Step One: Simple. Toast your bread of choice. I love mine extra crispy!Step Two: While the bread is still hot, I'm taking less than a teaspoon of coconut oil and melting it over the bread slices. We cook everything in coconut oil at my house. It's super healthy and jump starts your metabolism! If you're allergic or not a fan of the coconut taste then you can skip this step and/or drizzle olive oil over the toast at the end.Step Three: Mash up your avocado until it looks like guacamole! You can squeeze a little lemon if you want but since I'm going to add toppings I prefer to keep it simple. I do however like my avocados to be cold so I always leave it in the fridge. We got this AMAZING 'molcajete' as part of our wedding gift from my gal pal Teni Panosian (recognize the name? She's a fellow youtuber!) and well anyways, it's perfect to mash things up in whether it's avocados for our taco nights and/or anything else! Next, grab a spoon or fork and spread the avocado on both pieces of toast.Step Four: Add your toppings! Dice up your dates however you'd like and sprinkle them directly on top along with some crumbled feta. If you're on a strict diet that doesn't allow any cheese then simply skip it. I think it makes the tartine taste so good. Lastly, I finished it off with a little tajin seasoning (so good!) and himalayan salt on top.

There you have it! MMMMMM! I hope you enjoyed this post. Again, avocado toast is a great choice when you're looking for something quick and easy to make at home. The ingredients are all super cheap, too! I hope you will give it a try and let me know what you think. I'm new to this whole cooking world so I would love to hear your feedback and see if there are ways to improve and/or any other easy recipes that I should try! The next recipe I'm thinking about sharing with you is a Turkey chilli (no beans) with Sweet Potato! It's paleo friendly and gluten-free. Let me know what you want to see next!Cheers!
