Not sure if you’ve hit up my Youtube channel but there’s a new tutorial up inspired by spring! It’s linked below in case you missed it! 😉 I got the idea after visiting my favorite beauty counters at Neiman Marcus the other day. I was obsazzing over all the pretty spring hues. I loved how everything was organized in their beauty department but hated that I wanted everything in sight. ha! Thankfully I found one of their beauty experts who helped me find the perfect shades of purple for my skin-tone. This is why I love the in-store experience. You can’t get that immediate help and advice when you’re shopping online. Little did I know – Stevie was snapping some behind the scenes candid shots on his phone and encouraged me to share them with you all on my blog. We’ve been talking about sharing more personal and fun content with you guys on here.
I think purple is going to be a hit this spring. When it comes to makeup, purple is one of the few bold colors that you can get away with wearing on my eyes and still look subtle and natural. This palette has all the perfect shades! I totally recommend that if you have a similar olive complexion skin-tone give purple a try on the cheeks too! Why not?
This Xavier shade in Tom Ford’s lipstick might be my new favorite lipstick. I love the moisturizing matte coverage. It seriously lasted all day long!
Best of all – Neiman Marcus is having their exclusive beauty event right now! Basically you can receive a gift with purchase tote and samples with your $125+ qualifying purchase & receive a cosmetic case and samples with your $500+ qualifying purchase at NeimanMarcus.com! I found out it’s ending this Sunday (2/28) so don’t miss out!
