Let’s talk trends! This summer it’s all about gingham – I have been seeing it everywhere recently. Gingham print was born in France so that alone should make you feel très chic! It’s such an easy, fresh print to add to your wardrobe. It’s also a great alternative to florals and stripes that will give your outfit an edgier, more refined look.
Shopping online has quickly become my favorite night time activity (Ok Granny). I love when a new season is approaching because I always find new and exciting pieces for my wardrobe. Memorial Day weekend is THIS WEEKEND so keep a look out for major sales.
Shop my favorites (most on sale!) before they sell out this weekend. Happy weekend!
I wear them so often I wanted to do a post today featuring some of my favorite “summer off the shoulder tops”. Unlike certain trends that are created for a specific body type, I love that the off the shoulder trend works for all. It’s an easy piece you can throw on with a pair of jeans or shorts that will instantly add a touch of sexy to your style (without going too far.) Off the shoulder tops are everywhere right now so I decided to round up my favorites. I’m seeing …
Spring has sprung! And so have my Pinterest boards…. I was browsing Pinterest last night and got lost in so many cute hairstyles for spring/summer. I can’t wait to try out some of these! If you’ve been looking to spice it up a little in the hair department then I know these inspiration photos will do you good. It doesn’t matter your hair type — just get ready to screenshot. 😉
Whether it’s a messy topknot to help turn a bad hair day into a chic statement or a sleek ponytail – the options you see, are endless.
I’m currently sitting at my desk in my BF jeans and a messy topknot – I call it a case of the Wednesday blues. Pun intended 😉 It’s safe to say denim has been on the repeat button for me lately. I decided to round up a few of my current looks and share my top 6 denim pieces that also work for spring.
Finally! A ‘What’s in my Bag?’ post! It’s been a while since I’ve spilled my bag here on the blog. There’s no such thing as a neat and tidy bag spill in my world, so I hope you enjoy the genuine spill (quarters, bubble gum and all).

Do you remember when you were a little kid and your mom would pack up the mini van and head to the mall for the yearly back-to-school-shopping trip? Man I miss those days! I feel like I’m coming up on those days again but in a whole new way…so crazy! (disclaimer: I am not pregnant lol)
This outfit brings back nostalgia because I got the look from JCPenney! That seriously used to be my favorite department store growing up. Even though times and styles have changed, the one thing that hasn’t changed is the affordability. And I’ll forever be a …
It’s a no brainer when you hear the phrase, “Everyone looks good in black.” It’s true! Fall always brings out the warmer hues and the wannabe model-off-duty in me. I always love making a statement so instead of getting lost in the shadows of an all black outfit – …
If you were celebrating 4th of July this weekend I hope it was a great one! This was the first year Stevie and I got to entertain in the new house so we decided to have an outdoor BBQ feast! Stevie’s family came into town for the celebration and it was such a cozy/fun weekend. I finally got to try my mother-in-law’s famous flag cookie cake and let me just say – fireworks went off in my mouth. IT WAS HEAVEN.
I wore the cutest little striped jumpsuit, which I knew would be perfect for the 4th. I love the …
We made it through the first week of summer. Boy was it a hot one here in LA! Stevie and I decided to go watch Finding Dory last night and it was such a cute movie. If you don’t have any plans for the weekend I totally recommend you go see it. Side note – I didn’t get any snacks! This was actually the first week I’ve been eating super clean and strict with NO CHEATS! I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could do it and it was seriously easier than I imagined. I think the key …
