Hey guys! I’m back from NYC! I’ll be sharing an outfit post from my short trip very soon as soon as I get the photos edited and ready to go! In the meantime, I decided to dedicate today’s blog post to the color yellow. Why not?! I feel like yellow is a color that seldom gets attention and people either love it or hate it. I personally love it. Call it yellow fever if you’d like!
I went through some of my old photos inspired by my current color crush to show you guys how I’ve rocked yellow over the years. Caution: some of these photos are really old! ha!
Today I am excited to share how I rock my True Religion jeans. I’m terrible at math but, Denim + Birkenstocks + a flannel button-down around the waist = So 90’s.
Let’s talk denim. If there’s one style of clothing I’m going to be wearing for the rest of my life – it’s denim. For decades, we’ve seen how the classic jeans have transformed and evolved into a modern day favorite. Denim jeans have been styled in a gazillion ways by women, men and children of all ages. Hey! I’ve even seen doggy outfits incorporate denim jeans into their pup-wardrobe. It’s safe to say – jeans ain’t going no where. Especially, with there being so many different fits, styles and washes out there – the possibilities are endless! Today I’m sharing my denim style in a very 90’s throwback kind of way.
Today I partnered up with Chictopia and True Religion to share my denim style. I’m wearing the “Cora” mid-rise jeans from True Religion’s newly launched line of 12 core fits . You should definitely check out the array of new styles they have to offer. The inspiration behind each fit is the idea of denim disrupted by innovation. When some of you think “True Religion Jeans” you may think a specific style or their trademark stitching. But notice they’ve refined & completely redefined with a minimal twist to be your perfect, everyday jean. The fit I’m rockin’ is tailored perfectly for any of you gals who like the everyday skinny jean look without it being super tight and unbearable when you’re trying to put them on and take the off! We’ve all been there.
I love how versatile this straight leg jean is. You can fold over the hem like I did for an easy/relaxed summer look or try un-tucking and wearing it with a sexy heel for longer legs. I’ll admit, I had to have this same exact pair in black (shhhh!) and love how the darker wash looks for night. What style do you prefer? Get in on the action at #DenimDisrupted
Just when you thought you could wear a bold, loud-pattern dress only once, this happens. Meet one very vibrant dress and three very different styles to wear it! Today I’ve partnered up with my fave style-on-a-budget store Target, to bring you another stylish outfit challenge! Who would have thought you could wearthis dress three times and feel like you’re wearing it for the first time every time!? I’ll admit, I’m not super DIY savvy when it comes to making stuff so if you’re thinking this dress is going to be super complicated for you to re-create, you’re wrong! It’s all thanks to the easy-to-work-with straps that comes attached to the dress. Besides the three ways I’ve styled it, I am sure you will join me in on the challenge and discover many more ways! Whether you’re wearing this dress as a beach cover-up or dressing it up for a date night, it’s the perfect transformation maxi.
Bold printed dresses are so fun (especially for summer!). Which style of the three looks below is your favorite?!
How-to: First, I tied the 2 strings together around my neck to create a halter-neck look. Then, I grabbed fabric from the middle of the dress and raised it up tucking it over the halter (you can safety pin it underneath so it doesn’t slide out). Totally boho-chic!

How-to: Same as above, I died the string as a halter neck and left the rest of the dress as it is. I added a simple/chic white button-up and tied it to give it a more summery/beach vibe.
Ladies, put down your tweezers. Thick brows are in. Some say yay while others say nay but when done right- this is a timeless beauty trend that everyone wants to chase. I had some downtime on Saturday morning and decided to spend some time filming my version of creating natural looking eyebrows that are thick and not harsh to look at (I hope!). Thank you all who have waited so patiently and were sending me tons of requests asking about my eyebrows routine. Here it is! I hope you enjoy and will sound off in the comments letting me know what you think + what type of videos you want to see me do next!
Thanks for watching! Plz support + subscribe to my video channel for more videos coming soon! xo

I feel like I’m living in the 90’s today. Cue the intro song from Full House. It’s safe to say the wholebutton-up wrapped around the waist trend – isn’t going away any time soon. Some hate it, but I love it. I’m especially a fan of this flannel I’m wearing because it adds a pop of color/texture to my outfit. I love layering my looks sometimes to create a sporty edge. You can’t really do harm with a white denim mini skirt – or this super cute blue denim one I just purchased online (oh yesss I did girl.)!
I’m so excited to share that these gladiator boots were exclusively sent to me fromCAT footwear and will be featured in their catalog. The shoes will drop in 2015 but if you love them so much and can’t wait (I don’t blame you!), I found a similar cute pair you can shop here in the meantime.
Every time I have an audition or hosting gig I’ve noticed they always ask me to wear jewel/gem tone colors on camera. Oohhhh kay. I obviously prefer my leopard print over everything so I’m always offended (kidding).
Think shades of green, purple, and blue (hence the term jewel/gem tones). I decided to take this trend and re-invent it into my beauty life. I get bored with my makeup easily so I happily decided to give this a try. If you’re also kind of over your makeup style- try this out for your next look. I experimented with blue eye-liner for the first time last November when I was in NYC shooting videos with Target. Surprisingly, I ended up loving the eye-liner so much that I went and bought one after! Who would have thought that a little pop of color could transform your eyes? For my look below, I decided to go more dramatic by adding a dark purple lip to spice up this look (so great for night time!). If it’s too much for you then make adjustments where you need to. Whether that’s trading in the dark lip stick for a subtle nude lip gloss, or eliminating the eyeshadow and simply wearing the eye-liner by it self- You make the rules sista!
Simple How-to: I used an eyeshadow palette to create a shimmery/smokey base (optional). Tip: I used a dark matte shadow to define the crease of my eye and around the edges for a smokey look. Then I applied a few coats of the blue eye-liner (to really make it pop) and then finished off the look with my volume mascara and bold lipstick.
Since it’s Martin Luther King JR. day I want to leave you with one of his amazing quotes. He is truly one of the most inspirational and profound leaders of our time. “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”
