It’s Valentine’s Day and we’re celebrating LOVE today. I’ve almost been married for two years and sometimes I have to pinch myself. I am truly blessed with the best husband.

“Love thrives where love is rooted in commitment. Embrace a deeper sense of responsibility for and accountability to your loved ones, and you’ll be cultivating fertile soil where lasting love can take root. Love requires commitment, and commitment requires abandoning our exit strategy.”

I read that this morning and thought, “Wow so good. Stevie and I have come a long way from our good old college days..”

College days? Well, …

Happy almost Thanksgiving! The hubby and I are currently in Austin, Texas enjoying some much needed quality time with his family. Last year, the Hendrix’s introduced me to FRIED TURKEY and I almost fell out of my chair (it was SO good ha!) I’m excited that this year I’ll get to introduce Stevie to some of my family’s traditions! Yep we’re heading to my mom’s house for Thanksgiving in Dallas on Thursday. Say what??? All yumminess aside, if someone asked me 3 years ago if Steve would ever get to experience …

Heartbreak Sucks | This is what I learned..

Relationships | November 3, 2016

advice, stevie and sazan, social media, healthy, marriage, tips, heart break tips, how to cope, how to, deal,

Many of you have been following my blog for years and have seen countless lovey dovey #StevieandSazan posts time and time again. Before my “happily ever after”, there was a season of heartbreak I went through in a previous relationship. I love focusing on the happy things with you guys, but I feel like some of my babes out there need this post right now more than anything.

Coping with a break up is probably one of the worst feelings we have to overcome. It’s hard to picture my life without Steve, and I can’t imagine what life would look …

Marriage Question: When Are You Having Kids?

Relationships | September 15, 2016

One question you guys often ask (especially lately!) is when Stevie and I will have kids. By the looks of this photo it must be time, right? Not so fast….

Girl Talk (Boys skip this part): When we were in New York last week something felt different. I noticed I was a few days late – but that’s normal when I travel. What I couldn’t understand was why I started spotting. That never happens to me. I somehow convinced myself I was pregnant and told Steve the news. Stevie looked at me like God knows how many times when I’ve …

You read the title right. Several months ago, I got an email from a man named Jordan. He told me that his wifey-to-be (Rachel) was a HUGE supporter of mine. He then went on to personally invite Stevie and I to their August 2016 wedding in Canada. Never in a million years did he think we would even see the email! My first reaction was, “OMG. This is so sweet!” My second thought was, “Why do I have this strong feeling in my heart that I need to be there?” It took us just a few minutes after reading it …

Stevie surprised me this past Monday with a two day getaway to Catalina Island for our one year anniversary. It was such a fun trip – I enjoyed waking up on both mornings and not having an agenda or crazy itinerary. Those trips are always my favorite. 🙂

This was a trip I never want forget, Stevie was so thoughtful in planning the entire getaway without me finding out! I hope you’ll check out the VLOG from my channel below if you haven’t already!

It’s wedding season (and almost my 1 year anniversary!) so today I felt inspired to share 10 things you didn’t know about my wedding day. For any future brides-to-be out there, sometimes the not-so-perfect things play into that perfect day.

Here’s what you didn’t see in our breathtaking wedding photos. The weather forecast projecting RAIN, the pounds of double-sided tape holding up my dress, a bloated belly, a very sore you-know-what from my Brazilian wax experience, and my personal favorite – a COLD SORE flare up on my upper lip the morning of the wedding. Yep, this totally happened to …

What I Told My Husband Last Night..

Relationships | March 10, 2016

Last night I was laying in bed getting ready to turn out the lights, when I felt it on my heart to tell my husband a few reasons why I love him. I’m convinced that when this happens God is telling me, “Hey Saz, I know you’re busy and all but it’s time to check into reality girl..”  This isn’t the first time I’ve done this or the last time, but it’s been a while since we’ve had a cozy ‘pillow talk’ conversation.

When all of my married friends told us, “After you get married, you’re in for a real …

Happy Valentine’s Day! I want to wish you all a day filled with love and sweetness.  In the spirit of it all, Stevie and I were inspired to share our love in collaboration with our favorite page for all things love called AreYouThatSomebodyyy. I partnered up with the creator who happens to be very close to me. Can you guess? 😉 She’s actually my big sister and someone who I’ve always gone to for relationship advice. Sayran is the type of person who gets excited for the small moments and sees beauty in the most unique places. I’m so …
