Spring is in full-force over here and I’m loving every moment of it. As promised, here’s my second outfit change from this past Sunday weekend! I spent the afternoon in Newport (on a cute little boat!) with friends and it was so lovely. I totally recommend Newport Fun Tours if any of you are ever in the area. This was a last minute outfit I whipped together as I was rushing out of the house to make it there in time (#SazanProbs!), but it ended up being the perfect little number for my mini trip.
P.S Thanks for all the insta love I got on this look. Here are some candid pics from my day in Newport! The weather was perfect.

One of the best things about Target (in my opinion) is the exclusive designer collections they showcase every season. I’ll never forget when Missoni arrived at Target for a limited time collaboration that had everyone going crazy (myself included!). From the runway to the realway, it’s so fun getting to which designer will take their collections to Target next! The latest designer to hit the racks at Target (as many of you know) is Peter Pilotto. His cheap-but-chic collection (exclusive to Target) consisted of so many vibrant prints and bold accessories. Of course me being the gal who’s always chasing style on a budget, I had to get my hands on some of the goods.
I love mixing and matching prints so when I found this really beautiful dress (the last one in my size hanging by the way!) I knew I had to have it. It’s such a classy dress, and I love the bright colors and fun print- perfect for spring/summer. I also spotted these Peter Pilotto sunglasses not too far away that I decided to mix-match with my bold dress. For some reason, I felt the two belonged together in an opposites attract kind of way.
Talk about designer steals! This entire outfit cost me under $100! The key pieces I wanted to showcase (the dress & sunglasses) cost under $50! I don’t know who to thank, Target or Peter, but this look saved me some extra change. Chaaaa- ching! It’s definitely steals like this that keep me going back for more!

Happy Hump Day! I’ve been sporting a lot of sporty spice on the blog lately. I wasn’t kidding when I said I was obsazzed. I’m excited to continue my partnership with Target to bring you so many amazing trends this season- from the runway to the realway sista! Wooo wooo! First things first. Let’s talk about how major this sweatshirt is, shall we? I’m all for a heather grey baggy sweatshirt but this one is short-sleeved and perfect for the warmer season ahead. Notice the two shades of grey (dark in the back, light in the front baby!) What a fabulous “remix” version of the classic sweatshirt. Side note: When deciding what in the heck to pair with this cute shirt I was debating in the store if I wanted to get the black track pants or a black pencil skirt that caught my eye. After debating in the dressing room (it felt like I was in there for hours) I decided to keep it casual and go with the pants (plus I can re-wear the track pants more than the skirt I feel). Some call it smart shopping, I consider it to be my indecisiveness Libra probs. Of course- I had to have fun with the shoes and accessories to give this sporty look a chic edge .

It’s already starting to look and feel like summer in LA and so is my closet! Can I just say- let the sandals game begin! I’m so excited sandal season is here and it’s still January! It’s crazy to me how places like NYC and other cities all around the globe are experiencing not-so-sunny temperatures. I’m slightly jealous because I feel like my winter season was jipped (aka I didn’t really have one!). I can’t complain too much because it’s outfits like these that make me thankful for Cali. I paired this super chic blouse with a pair of little black shorts little to give it a boho chic vibe. This look is so simple (notice no crazy colors or accessories) so that these TO-DIE-FOR knee-high gladiator sandals can be the center of attention. They remind me of Stuart Weitzman’s gladiators, but these are unbelievably affordable (and cute!) compared to his $398! Just saying. Can I get a chaa- ching!?!
