-My Outfit Details-
Gladiator Sandals: Zooshoo (fits true to size)
Blouse: Gina Tricot (n/a) (shop similar)
Bag: Rovi Moss
Sunglasses: Karen Walker
Necklace: Forever 21 (old) (shop similar)
Hat: Nordstrom (shop similar)
It’s already starting to look and feel like summer in LA and so is my closet! Can I just say- let the sandals game begin! I’m so excited sandal season is here and it’s still January! It’s crazy to me how places like NYC and other cities all around the globe are experiencing not-so-sunny temperatures. I’m slightly jealous because I feel like my winter season was jipped (aka I didn’t really have one!). I can’t complain too much because it’s outfits like these that make me thankful for Cali. I paired this super chic blouse with a pair of little black shorts little to give it a boho chic vibe. This look is so simple (notice no crazy colors or accessories) so that these TO-DIE-FOR knee-high gladiator sandals can be the center of attention. They remind me of Stuart Weitzman’s gladiators, but these are unbelievably affordable (and cute!) compared to his $398! Just saying. Can I get a chaa- ching!?!

Every time I have an audition or hosting gig I’ve noticed they always ask me to wear jewel/gem tone colors on camera. Oohhhh kay. I obviously prefer my leopard print over everything so I’m always offended (kidding).
Think shades of green, purple, and blue (hence the term jewel/gem tones). I decided to take this trend and re-invent it into my beauty life. I get bored with my makeup easily so I happily decided to give this a try. If you’re also kind of over your makeup style- try this out for your next look. I experimented with blue eye-liner for the first time last November when I was in NYC shooting videos with Target. Surprisingly, I ended up loving the eye-liner so much that I went and bought one after! Who would have thought that a little pop of color could transform your eyes? For my look below, I decided to go more dramatic by adding a dark purple lip to spice up this look (so great for night time!). If it’s too much for you then make adjustments where you need to. Whether that’s trading in the dark lip stick for a subtle nude lip gloss, or eliminating the eyeshadow and simply wearing the eye-liner by it self- You make the rules sista!
Simple How-to: I used an eyeshadow palette to create a shimmery/smokey base (optional). Tip: I used a dark matte shadow to define the crease of my eye and around the edges for a smokey look. Then I applied a few coats of the blue eye-liner (to really make it pop) and then finished off the look with my volume mascara and bold lipstick.
(Shop) What I’m Wearing: Eyeshadow, Lipstick N/A (shop similar), Eye-liner, Mascara

You know how some people move to LA and eventually get face-lifts? When I moved to LA I eventually realized my blog needed one. If you typed in spazmag.com last night or today, you probably noticed the big change! Welcome to the new me! Technically, it’s still the old site but it went under a major makeover and name change.
So why the change? To sum up my 3983472o2545 reasons into one: I want to share more of ME with YOU! I’ve evolved so much over the past 3-plus years since I started blogging (personally and in my career) that I knew now was the time for a healthy change! What a difference a year in Los Angeles makes- I mean this in the best way. I went from being this girl fresh out of college in Texas to a new-found business owner in LA (the transition hasn’t been easy). You guys mean the world to me and I’m so excited that this is a space where I can nerd out about fashion and be more personal with you! This site is also 10 times easier to navigate and will focus more on the things you guys love: my outfit posts, fun videos and plenty of personal style and beauty tips to inspire your next look. Yay! So excited for this new journey- and even more excited to have you come along for the ride!
Read more about the big change, plus my personal note to you here.

Dress: Forever 21
Necklace: Milk and Honey
Bag: Rovi Moss
A little black dress goes a long way sometimes. I love a loose-fitted dress like this one because it’s super comfortable and easy to run errands in. It’s especially great for those casual days when you don’t feel like dressing up. I added my personal Sazan touch with this fabulous Milk and Honey evil eye necklace! A little pop of gold is all an outfit needs sometimes.

Everyone and their mom knows I am obsazzed with hair. What! It’s my favorite accessory! It’s one of the first things I notice in people sometimes, and to me I feel like your hairstyle can really make or break an outfit. In other words, if my hair looks good- my outfit looks good too. I’ve experimented with so many hairstyles, cuts and (now I can say!) colors over the years. The less products I need to use on my hair, the happier I am (plus it saves me time and money!).
Simple beauty solutions don’t come easy. The biggest advice I can give: feed your hair! Treat your hair like your body. It needs the right nutrition from the right products. My problem is I use way too many products at once and it’s a pain to re-stock every time! I recently discovered, “It’s a 10,” an all natural hair-care line that delivers the magic in one bottle! I tested out some of their products to see if it really is a 10! I am happy to share that my hair felt so smooth and fluffy afterwards! Aka- I didn’t have to tease my hair to get that volumized look. I also appreciated the fact that I didn’t need to use any outside products to achieve happier hair.
One of my recent outfit posts: I used It’s A 10’s Miracle Volumizing Shampoo, Miracle Deep Conditioner Plus, and Miracle Leave-in Plus (Keratin treatment).
1. Maintenance of keratin straightening treatments
It’s a 10 Haircare products provide exceptional results designed to deliver a combination of 10 benefits – all in one bottle. Now, through our exclusive professional salon formulas, you can enjoy shine, moisture balance and healthy movement with just one product. We call it “strength in simplicity” and it will undoubtedly change the way you think about hair care.

2. Increase styling and manageability
3. Perfect for all hair types
4. Replaces lost protein
5. Protects the natural keratin in hair
6. Protects against heat
7. Restores hydration balance
8. Detangles, defrizzes and adds shine
9. Strengthens hair structure
10. Seals cuticles for extra silky hair

It’s all about the 90’s! ..as if! This outfit totally reminds me of something Cher from Clueless would wear, and I love it. Los Angeles is starting to feel like Spring already, so I’m excited to wear more skirts! Pairing a sweater with a skirt can make you look effortlessly stylish. I’m a fan!

Hey guys! Today has seriously got to be the craziest busiest Monday ever invented. It’s one of those where I decide to trade in my heels for some comfortable Converse! I am keeping it casual! My cousin is in town visiting from Sweden and she was so sweet to bring me this cute/chill floral dress from one of my fav stores in Stockholm, Gina Tricot! I am a girl who loves to layer, so I paired it with a denim vest to give it that edgy Sazan touch.

I am so excited to share that I will be a guest speaker at this year’s For the Girls Conference 2014 in Dallas! You are all invited to join me and Hope Students for “For the Girls … Fierce and Free” conference on March 28 & 29th. 500+ people are expected to attend this year!! There’s going to be so many great activities, giveaways, live music and lots more surprises!
It is such an honor that I was asked to share my story. This is an opportunity for me to be so honest and open about my faith. Living in “Hollywood” has tested my faith in soo many ways that without God I honestly don’t know where I would be today. I’ve realized for me that when I learned to listen to God’s voice and trust that He has a purpose for my life, everything started making sense. I love that God has given me a platform to inspire and share the love through my work. It’s not easy being a Christian in Hollywood. It’s even more challenging being a middle eastern girl who is Christian. If you think I have it all figured out….Wrong!! I have faced (and continue to face) so many obstacles in my personal life and career life.
Aside from speaking at the conference, I will also be doing something else which I will keep a surprise! I hope you girls attending will leave inspired and embrace God’s call on your life. This conference is designed specifically for middle school and high school girls and will capture their hearts for Christ and empower them to impact a generation. You can, and YOU will. I WISH I went to something like this when I was in middle school. Those were some of my toughest years (as for many it is!). I hope you will grab your sister, best friend and/or mother and make this a fun girls day!
Get your tickets now! They are available now HERE for $25 (price increases to $30 on March 5th!). Group tickets are available by contacting Chelsea Rohde at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Live fierce and free!
