Today I am excited to share how I rock my True Religion jeans. I’m terrible at math but, Denim + Birkenstocks + a flannel button-down around the waist = So 90’s.
Let’s talk denim. If there’s one style of clothing I’m going to be wearing for the rest of my life – it’s denim. For decades, we’ve seen how the classic jeans have transformed and evolved into a modern day favorite. Denim jeans have been styled in a gazillion ways by women, men and children of all ages. Hey! I’ve even seen doggy outfits incorporate denim jeans into their pup-wardrobe. It’s safe to say – jeans ain’t going no where. Especially, with there being so many different fits, styles and washes out there – the possibilities are endless! Today I’m sharing my denim style in a very 90’s throwback kind of way.
Today I partnered up with Chictopia and True Religion to share my denim style. I’m wearing the “Cora” mid-rise jeans from True Religion’s newly launched line of 12 core fits . You should definitely check out the array of new styles they have to offer. The inspiration behind each fit is the idea of denim disrupted by innovation. When some of you think “True Religion Jeans” you may think a specific style or their trademark stitching. But notice they’ve refined & completely redefined with a minimal twist to be your perfect, everyday jean. The fit I’m rockin’ is tailored perfectly for any of you gals who like the everyday skinny jean look without it being super tight and unbearable when you’re trying to put them on and take the off! We’ve all been there.
I love how versatile this straight leg jean is. You can fold over the hem like I did for an easy/relaxed summer look or try un-tucking and wearing it with a sexy heel for longer legs. I’ll admit, I had to have this same exact pair in black (shhhh!) and love how the darker wash looks for night. What style do you prefer? Get in on the action at #DenimDisrupted

P.S I am so glad to finally be back in LA for a hot minute before my next travel to NYFW. Have a great week lovelies!
Special thanks to True Religion for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own. xo

Thank God it’s almost Friday! (Aka 4th of July weekend, can I get a woo! woo!) On a not so thrilled note, what a hot a** week it has been here in Texas. I’m happy we got a little rain last night but DANG it’s unbearable! I’m here for another week before traveling to the Middle-East, which I’m sure will be even hotter. *Insert the anxiety emoji face*
I’ve been keeping my wardrobe + makeup light lately. I refer that in the summer time. This lazy baseball crop top (a vintage find) is so comfy and I like that it’s yellow (my current fave color!). I’m also really into this whole leopard slip-ons trend. I’ve been seeing stylish gals pair them with dressy skirts and summer dresses and in my opinion it totally works! Mine have seriously been glued to my feet ever since I got them. I love how comfortable and easy-to-wear they are. Plus, anything dipped in leopard is always a win in my book.
P.S Notice a little cameo action from my Shiba Inu pup Yoshi!? Ahhh Doesn’t he make your heart melt?! He is just so freakin’ cute and is seriously the sweetest little baby in the puppy world!

If you’re noticing a flashblack to the eighties than you ‘guessed’ it. GUESS is bringing the 80’s back with the launch of their 80’s inspired “throwback” collection called GUESS Originals which features these ahh-mazing high-waisted cropped jeans with their classic GUESS logo on the back pocket. The logo was the first thing that caught my eye. It’s so cool (and surreal!) getting to partner up with a brand that I’ve admired all my fashion life! It’s even cooler getting to see an Originals Collection 80’s comeback like this! Notice the fit and style of these skinnies. I love high-waisted jeans more than anything because they suck in the belly and make your legs the focus!
You can pair it with a crop top and blazer like I did, or maybe keep it simple with a loose tee. No matter what your style is, these white jeans are the perfect spring/summer staple. I’ve been wearing a lot of white lately (well duh it’s spring!) because it literally matches everything (it’s an easy go-to!). To finish off this classic 80’s inspired look, of course I added a fun pop of color with the blazer. Oh how I love spring. And throwbacks.

Sometimes denim on denim is the best way to go. I love making a bold statement and wearing fun colors, but sometimes I like to chill out. I paired my new studded chucks (ah so obsessed!) with this classic denim jacket and skinny jeans for a casual/chill day in San Diego last Sunday. It got a little chilly after sunset so I decided to put the jacket on!
Today’s affirmation? Sometimes less is more. <3

Good afternoon all my fashion lovers of the world! I decided to live a little by featuring a few of my favorite things- polka dots, faux fur and sequins all in one outfit. Too much? Naaaah. A few simple ingredients that make up a fierce outfit.
Speaking of FIERCE (when am I not?), New Years Eve is tomorrow! I can’t believe this is my last blog post of 2012! It’s been such a fantastic year but I am ready for the adventures that 2013 has in store. Hope you all have a safe and exciting New Years! Don’t forget the sequins!
