Merry Christmas Eve you guys! I’ve got a holiday inspired makeup post for you guys! Today’s beauty post is inspired by one of my favorite holiday makeup looks. I snapped a couple of selfies in the car yesterday to share my love for the bold red lip! A bright red lip puts me in the holiday spirit every year and makes the perfect statement.
I know that wearing any sort of color on your lips can get messy – trust me I’ve been there. And if you’re a big kisser kind of person? Forget about it. The most annoying thing I’ve experienced is always finding red lipstick stains on my chin after I’m done eating. Why in the world does that happen!? ha! Anyways, I found this new matte lipstick from Mac x Nasty Gal which hasn’t disappointed me (or stained my chin) yet. I also like that it doesn’t dry out my lips even though it’s a matte lipstick.
Here are some (not all) of the key products I used to achieve this look. Not sure if you can tell or not, but I’m wearing a new oil-free liquid foundation! I recently learned that the Laura Mercier oil-free liquid foundation I was using was taken off of the shelves because they are re-vamping the product. In the meantime, I’ve been on the hunt for a new one. I was also inspired by the new year, new beginnings motto. Yesterday was literally the first time I wore my new Hourglass foundation out and about. Obviously I had to take a million selfies to see how well it photographs. #SazanSolutions So far, so good! I like that this one is also matte/oil-free like my old Laura Mercier foundation BUT it has a luminous finish that makes my face glow more! Looooove.
Hope you enjoyed this post! Have a Merrrrrrrry Christmas loves. Before I go, I just want to say how incredibly blessed I feel this year. God has really made this one of my favorite years ever. The best is yet to come! Thank you guys for supporting me day and night. Hope you have a great holiday and spend it with the people you love the most. Love you!<3
If you’re looking for last minute Christmas gift ideas, you can stop looking now. 😉 Christmas is right around the corner. Does anyone else feel like a chicken with their head cut off looking for the perfect gifts for friends and family? I’m still not done with my shopping! In the midst of all my traveling, I was going to post my recap of my San Francisco trip today but realized I left the camera I used on that trip in my LA apartment! GRRRR. My sister will be meeting me in Texas soon so I asked her to bring it! In the meantime, I thought why not share a little holiday shopping post? No kidding, Nordstrom is pretty much one of my favorite high + low go-to department stores for every occassion. They have so many cute things right now that I’m inspired to finish the rest of my Christmas shopping online.

I spent the past three days exploring a city I’ve always dreamed of visiting- San Francisco. All I’ve got to say is WOW. I basically want to change my name to Saz Francisco now. #DontWorryIWont Anyways, the city is absolutely breathtaking from the historical attractions to the amazing food and people who make up the culture. As many of you followed along, I shared tons of pictures on my Instagram. However, there are tons more pics that didn’t make the cut, but I will be sharing a recap of everything in detail right here on the blog soon.
I could’t wait to share this furry little number with you that I wore on Day 1! San Francisco was super chilly so this coat saved me from literally freezing my booty off. These boots also kept me really warm and add a charming little touch to complete the outfit.
My camera was being really annoying adjusting to the light so most of these photos were taken with my iPhone instead. Hope you enjoyed! I’m heading on a plane to Austin today! Can’t wait to be back home in the south for the holidays. Yeeeeehaw!
It’s about to get real DIY up in here with ripped jeans and studs. With the help of a few materials, I’m going to show you an easy DIY for distressing your own jeans and adding studs to denim. I always wondered how manufacturing companies distress and add cute bling to their denim. YMI Jeans is the best for letting me come in to uncover their secret! Both of these denim looks are a great way to spice up your wardrobe during the holidays. Maybe throw a DIY denim party while you’re at?! Woo! Let’s dooooo this.
Today I’m sharing some of my favorite little black dresses perfect for this time of year! Confession. I’m a dress-aholic during the holiday season. I love wearing a spectrum of styles – from the sparkly reds to simple black and nudes. I don’t know what it is about a little black dress that has me keep coming back for more. I just feel so confident and sexy when I wear one. So I say when in doubt, go black.
This single shoulder LBD is from Baukjen. I am usually very picky when it comes to tight dresses because I don’t want to look like I’m going out to the club a dub-dub on a Tuesday. But this one sits perfectly just below the knee giving it a classy/sexy vibe. It’s double lined in jersey so it’s comfy to move around in but still sucks everything in (phew)! When it comes to accessorizing a dress like this, the possibilities are endless. I’ve been into the minimal-chic look lately so I kept it simple by adding a skinny belt to help accentuate my waist and a bold lip.
What Bra to Wear: If you’re going to wear a dress like this you can either go commando (aka no bra) or wear a strapless one. I recently found the perfect one for me (finally!) here.
Is it too early to share my holiday wish list?! Don’t answer that. The truth is, I’m super stoked for the holidays and all the amazing sales that are going to come from it. As I’m anxiously excited to go home for the holidays (a.k.a Texas), I decided to share a handful of items on my Christmas list with you. Mixing a little functional fashion with fun statement pieces makes the perfect list right? The first thing I found and instantly drooled over was this cute miniring bagholder from Henri Bendel. I love the feminine pale pink shade and the black and white stripes. It adds a nice little touch! I know a lot of the items on my wish list aren’t necessarily items I need, but I will exclude this Mophie casebecause I’m always using my phone and it dies so fast. I can’t always carry a charger with me so it’s definitely a good investment piece to have a case like this that can re-charge your phone up to 200%.
What’s on your wish-list!? This is only the beginning. Stay tuned for more of my holiday gift guides and let me know what you guys want me to shop for next!

Random fact about Me: In my family, we always put our Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving night! Can’t wait for the tradition to continue this year.
