Makeup Monday: Simple yet Bold
Beauty Everyday How-to Tutorials MakeupNow here’s a makeup look I’m obsazzed with. *heart eyes emoji*
A pop of color on the lids. Simple yet so bold.
How you should apply it: Prime your lids, then use a long, fluffy eyeshadow brush like this one to lightly shade the eyes. A long and fluffy brush will give you softer application versus a densely packed brush which can intensify color pickup.
Your bold eyeshadow should stop at a point that’s just touching, or at a position that’s a little higher than the eyelid crease. If you have monolids, try to keep the color close to your lash line and blend upwards with a clean brush.
Blending tip: Use the tip of your brush to blend your eyeshadow, not the sides. I love using my ring finger to ensure both eyes match evenly.
For this tutorial I used the brightest green tone from this Morphe palette but you can honestly use any matte shadow you like! I linked some more options for you below 🙂

Pretty! I love the light blue/green shade too. I know I have these colors in my makeup collection – now I have an excuse to use them. 🙂
