My Sweet Escape | Los Angeles Diary

If I could escape, I’d recreate a place in my own world…Gwen Stefani where you at??
Ha! Happy Monday you guys. Do you ever have those days when you just need to get out of the house and escape to one of your favorite sweet spots? One of my favorite things about living in LA is that I’ll never run out of little me-time escapes.
Bouchon in Beverly Hills is in a really cute area (a quiet hidden gem). There’s a lawn area where people can sit, and you can grab a bite at their sweet cafe that has an assortment of pastries, coffee, and macarons. That’s exactly what I did! I got a hot chocolate and three macarons (I ate them all hehe) I’m realizing as I get older it’s important to incorporate some me-time into my busy lifestyle. An hour a day can change everything- whether it’s working out, indulging in a favorite sweet treat, or unplugging from technology.
When’s the last time you enjoyed a little me-time? I encourage you to try a new spot, or go to your favorite this week! You won’t regret it, I promise!

With it finally feeling like fall in LA, the weather’s been cozy enough to take my corduroy jacket out to play. I paired it with this long striped skirt that was gifted to me. I wasn’t sure how I was gonna style it because stripes can sometimes be challenging, so I decided to dress it down with flats and a loose braid. Let me know what you think!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
