Summer in LA & My Petite Girl Style Tips
Style Travel

Many of you guys have been asking me about this outfit I wore on my Instagram last week. I’m super bummed to inform you guys that the jeans and top are sold out. The good news? I found similar options!
Hallelujah for clothes that actually fit, right!? When I’m on-the-go comfort is always key but I like feeling sexy at the same time. Nothing screams sexier than these sleek Steve Madden black heels I bought at Nordstrom a couple of months ago (I got them in nude too!). They’re surprisingly comfortable in my opinion. Imagine if I went with a pair of sneakers. It would totally change the whole look and feel of this outfit!

If you’re wondering about the jeans, they are from AG. I got them when we collaborated over a year ago and I’m still obsazzed. Super bummed that they’re out of stock from what I’m finding online, but found some similar (and cheaper!) steals.
What I’m Wearing:
Jeans: AG Jeans (sold out – shop similar here + here or cheaper here + here)
Top: Brandy Melville (sold out – more playful options here + here)
Bag: Gigi New York (cheaper option here)
Heels: Steve Madden
Sunglasses: Celine (cheaper steal here)
Necklace: Anthropologie
P.S.
There are some things I should highlight about my petite girl style. I have longer legs than torso so sometimes in my photos I come across to be 5’9” when I’m really 5’2”. How do I manage to look so tall? I make Steve lay on the ground and shoot my blog photos looking up. KIDDING!
I found this chart on Buzzfeed’s site and it is so accurate! I think the biggest thing I’ve been able to master is knowing exactly what works and what doesn’t on my body. I can wear everything tall girls wear – except the fit has to fit me. Here are my top 3 Saz tips for petite girls!
- Neckline Matters – If you’re a bustier petite, remember balance is key.
- Don’t get Lost – Look for skirts and dresses above the knee to give your legs a longer appearance. Throw in a little loose crop top action every now and then – why not?
- Tailor Your Bottoms – I’ve don’t this a few times and it was totally worth it. Many petite women will testify that a good pair of bottoms is hard to find. Finding a local tailor can make all the difference.
Have great rest of your week! Don’t forget to stay connected through my blog newsletter. <3

can you do a tutorial on your hair? how did you do it?

I’m so glad you did this piece, i am in love with your fashion sense..always on point girl!do you think you could maybe do a fall/winter petite guideline? especially winter as I’m looking for a new jacket and some cozy sweaters and stuff for when it comes (sadly lol).sometimes its tough to shop for a winter jacket thats both trendy and doesn’t drown you out when you’re petite! love you xo
Simply beautiful . . . Just the parfait style for the off the shoulders look. Simple, casual and chic! 🙂

I’m 4’11, so finding age appropriate clothing can be tough! Great tips though, I swear by my tailor and knowing what works for my body. Classic is best ????

Love this! I’m just under 5’4″ and these tips are super helpful. I love to wear high-waisted bottoms as well, as they give the illusion of longer legs.

I love the crop top look! and I agree the heels really do make a big difference versus wearing sneakers. I love being comfortable tho so most of the time I do opt for the flats, but great tips!
