Mother’s Day Gift Guide
I can’t believe it’s almost Mother’s Day again! This year Mother’s Day falls on my one year wedding anniversary. It’s crazy to think that last year this time I was getting ready to say ‘I do’. One of the coolest parts about being married to Stevie is getting to have a second mom. 🙂 I want to give a special shoutout to my mom and my mother-in-law. They’re both amazing hard working women who are die hard for their families. I also can’t leave out my aunt Ren (mom’s sister) who helped raise my siblings and I growing up while my mom and dad worked long hours to pay the bills. So I basically have three moms I’m shopping for this year. I don’t know if being a new mommy to a puppy counts, but I’m starting to get a taste of what it’s like and dang it’s a lot of work.
Anyways, to all the mothers young and old, you deserve the best – whether it’s Mother’s Day or just another day. I thought it would be fun (and helpful!) to share some of my gift ideas this year in case you need some inspiration. Keep reading!
DIY Succulents- Right now succulents are all the rage. They’re the easiest plant in the world to take care of and they’re super popular in home decor. This is actually a kit to make your own- could be a fun DIY to do with your mom this Mother’s Day!
DW Home candles- I’ve filled my home with these because they smell so good, and they last so long! You can order them here or you can even find them at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx! Tip: Always go for Soy Candles – it’s healthier and burns really clean.
Terrycloth book/ebook cover- Summer’s coming! If your mom likes to read then this terrycloth book/ebook cover is perfect for those days by the beach or the pool! If you want – pair it with a cute coffee cup or box of tea.
Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser- if your mom doesn’t take enough time to pamper herself, get her this wonderful cleanser. I use it every day and it seriously feels like a spa treatment!
Serving Board Set- My sister makes the best charcuterie boards, which is why this serving board set caught my eye. It’s super cute and perfect for decor, serving food, whatev!
Spigen Style Ring- These things are so awesome, especially if your mom spends time in the car. If you don’t want your mama texting and driving- this Style Ring is perfect! Our whole team has one and they’re super convenient (and the phone cases are pretty awesome too).
Stackable Apothecary Jars- Yesss I have these in my bathroom and will never go back! Whoever thought of transparent organization should win an award! I’ve also seen these at target for $20 🙂 You can practically fill it with anything and everything. Great for in kitchen or your cosmetic countertop! My mom would totally love this.
Cookies delivered to her Doorstep- An easy (and delicious!) way to say I love You. If your mom doesn’t care about gluten-free, then get her some of these Compost Cookies. Holy YUM. P.S They can ship last minute! 😉
Mani/Pedi Date- Maybe your mom loves quality time. Treat her to a relaxing mani/pedi date! Maybe pick up some coffee beforehand and plan on taking it easy for the rest of the afternoon. 🙂
Sweet Personalized Mug- This mug is everything- if you don’t live near your mom, this is the perfect gift. You can even customize it to have the states that you want!
Personalized pillow- similar to the mug, but on a pillow. So it can be like she’s snuggling with you even when you’re away! Personalized gifts are always great gifts that mom will keep forever.
Jo Malone Room Spray- I looooove love love this! I have one in my house (“Pomegranate Noir” scent is my fave). It smells SO good and any Mom would love it. It also comes in a diffuser – perfect for the living room.
A Pretty wall print- For the artsy mom. This one is too cute.
For the gardening Mom- these super cute little planters are perfect for succulents or small flowers for outside or even indoor decor!
Who doesn’t enjoy some pampering? This tea bath sounds soooo relaxing (I may have to order one for me too!)
