I’m Heading to Europe Tomorrow! (Video)

Lifestyle Style Travel

Hey guys! I just wanted to share a quick note with you letting you guys know my Europe trip has arrived and I’ll be heading overseas tomorrow! I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it! Today on my channel, I shared a fun video of some of the items I’m going to take on my trip (courtesy of Contiki!). You’ll notice a special cameo from a special someone. Wink wink. 😉

I’ll be returning to the states on June 11th. While I’m traveling, I am going to try my best to post some pictures throughout the journey but follow me on Instagram and SnapChat (SazanBarzani is my username) for fun posts and pictures. It’s going to feel like you guys are going with me on this trip. I can’t wait!!!!!! 🙂

I am about to start packing for the trip. I know I’m going to want to shop over there, so I’m going to try to pack light with basic items I can re-wear over and over again. Of course I want to look good on this trip but I have a feeling with the fast-paced itinerary (we’re hitting 9 cities in 10 days), my main focus is going to be comfort!! I’m okay with wearing tennis shoes as long as I get to enjoy all the incredible moments and experiences with my husband in Europe. 🙂

  1. Hey Sazan! Excited you’re heading to London which is my home city! There is so much to see here. Before I even start, I would definitely recommend keeping an umbrella with you at all times – the weather is very changeable so you never know when you might need it!

I’m sure your tour company has told you some of the key sights (Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and Gardens, Hyde Park, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Portobello market (Notting Hill), Harrods, the main museums like Natural History museum, British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum , St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square etc) but i’m just gona mention some of the cool places that Londoners hang out!
    1) Camden and Stables Market – really cool eclectic market and area – have lunch at Gilgamesh, it’s amazing!
    2) Primrose Hill Park – not very far from Camden – lovely views of London from there.
    3) Borough Market – food market and very popular
    4) Soho – awesome restaurants and generally a cool area – Carnaby Street is a trendy shopping street nearby.
    5) Serpentine in Hyde Park – lake where you go go boating
    6) Sky Garden – you need to book in advance but its free to go up – it’s a viewing platform with fab views of London.
    7) would definitely recommend afternoon tea while you’re in London. There are lots of great places (Claridges, the Ritz and Dorchester are more fancy and traditional. If you want something funky, the Berkeley have a fashion themed afternoon tea, the Sanderson have an Alice in wonderland themed tea, Sketch is just pretty and Aqua Shard have an afternoon tea and the plus is that you are high up in the shard with amazing views of London!)
    8) Southbank – awesome atmosphere to just walk along the river with great views of St Paul’s cathedral – you can also visit the Tate Modern (art gallery)
    9) Spitalfields market and Brick lane – really cool area to explore in east London.
    10) Oxford Street and Regents Street for shopping! Primark is our version of forever21 – cheap and cheerful! Lol

For all the markets, I would double check days the markets are open and it may vary. Sorry for the really long list! Lol I love my city so get excited talking about it. Hope you have an amazing time and that you get to see some of the above. London has so much to see!!

  2. VENICE is unbelievable! Be sure to take a gondola tour of the city… really romantic at night!! I loved going to the glass blowing factory but I can’t remember what island it is located on but it is off by itself. They show you how they make beautiful and intricate pieces. Have lots of fun! Can’t wait to catch up on the blogs!!

  3. Ah have so much fun! I just travelled through Europe this past summer after living in Spain for a bit, I am already dying to go back! Everywhere you’re going is amazing 🙂

  4. I am obsessed with your earings I have been searching every where for them. Where did you get them?

  5. Hi! Can you please post your itinerary if you don’t mind? I’m planning a Europe trip and I’m having issue with deciding wether to book it on my own or use European Destinations website. Please advise! Really appreciated and enjoy your honeymoon!!
