I’ll keep my words to a minimum today so you can enjoy the video I created for you below! I FINALLY found some time to re-create Kate Upton’s look in a how-to tutorial video after getting tons of sweet comments about it on my Insta. This hairstyle is actually one that I’ve  been rockin’ it for years! It’s super easy to do and perfect for all occassions. I decided to make it look a little more messy since it’s summer. I hope you enjoy the video. Please comment below (or on my Youtube) and share your thoughts + what other videos you want to see next!

Hope you’ll subscribe to my Youtube channel here.

  1. Loved the style — what fun! FYI, those “wide bobby pins” are called “hairpins”. Hairpins were the original, used in those Gibson-girl updo’s from Victorian Era and even before that, and the “Bobby” or “Bobbi(e)” pins were an improvement called a “bobbing pin” created in 1899 and made popular in the 1920’s with “bobbed” hairstyles, created to stay in better with the coated tips and close-crimped sides. In the 1950’s the “Bobbie(e)” name became the norm and is the common name today. They are sometimes called hair grips or Kirbygrips in Britain, named after their manufacturer.
