Happy Monday! Today I’m getting up close and personal with you (in my bathroom!) as I share my experience with la prairie’s new collection which includes an age-defying, hydrating cream and light, nourishing dry oil. Before I get into that experience, I’ve got to say that I’ve truly been obsessed with this swiss brand for years after my mom introduced me to their ‘skin caviar’ eye cream (a-mazing). I owe it to her for setting a healthy example and showing me ways to take better care of my skin. I’m 24 and I can’t go to bed without putting on my eye cream every night and in the morning. My motto is it’s better to start early than waiting until it’s too late. I’ll admit the products don’t run cheap (each value at $300) but when it comes to having healthy skin and using the right products I think it’s worth the investment. Tip: You can always go to your local Nordstrom and ask for samples before purchasing the product. Read on to see how my experience went..
The best way to describe my experience with la prairie’s nourishing dry oil was after applying it to the areas of my skin that tend to be the driest, I instantly felt my skin become smooth and hydrated. Use the dry oil alone or blend one silken drop with a moisturiser of your choice for even longer lasting hydration. (1-2 drops is all you need)
This cream is magical. I noticed a difference in the texture of my skin and noticed it’s really light to the touch (not greasy). After one use I noticed it helped renew the look of firmness and smoothed the appearance of wrinkles. This is definitely a cream you’ll want to invest in using before bed and in the morning. Instantly you will notice your skin looks healthier and feels smoother.
Recommended: I used a gentle cleanser/exfoliator from Cetaphil before testing out my la prairie cream and oil.
