I am learning that here in Los Angeles everything is potentially a business meeting that you have to fashionably prepare for.

What does your outfit say about you?

This look is totally transitional- perfect for that TV network meeting in the day and that social event at night.

1. Leopard Collar- If you’ve been following my blog for years, you know that I am obsessed with this print. Leopard prints (if done right) can reflect that you are daring, wild and aren’t afraid to stand out.

2. A Sophisticated Smaller Bag- This F&W Style handbag is absolutely perfect for a work meeting and then heading to a social outing afterwards. The key is that the bag is not too big or distracting. The print is sophisticated and shows off your color-loving personality.

3. A line Skirt- This is the classiest type of modern skirt you can choose from within the skirt family. If you’re going to a meeting avoid bringing attention to your booty area (even if it’s your best asset ladies!) because skin-tight clothing isn’t appropriate unless you are going to a nightclub (and even then I don’t recommend it). The gift of an a-line skirt is every body type looks great in one and so does your waist! Keep the length a couple of inches above your knees and add a killer heel to help elongate your legs.

4. Hair/Makeup- Loose waves and natural/soft makeup is definitely the way to go if you’re going into an interview. I like to tease a little at the roots of my hair to give it a fuller effect, but don’t over do it for the meeting (I have to tell myself that!) You want the interviewer to focus on your eyes- nothing else!

Now go kick that meeting in the butt! ;)
